Make an incredibly smoke filled bacon & cheddar flavored gourmet burgers. These simple, yet juicy, burgers will make no one want to eat out again.

Prep time: 15 min. Cook time: 1 hr. Difficulty: 3 of 5. Serves: 5-8. Wood Type: Competition.
Ingredients:
- Holy Smokers Hickory Bacon Burger Rub
- 4 Pound 20/80 Ground
- Beef
- Bacon bits or cooked bacon
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Burger Press
- Canned Cheddar Cheese
Steps:
1. Place small portions into burger press, press burger making sure to leave space for the stuffed ingredients.
2. Season the inside with Holy Smokers Hickory Bacon Burger rub, bacon bits (or real bacon) & shredded mild cheddar.
3. Place another small portion of burger on top of the stuffed ingredients and press the burger out.
4. Place Burger on tray & liberally season the outside of the burger again with Holy Smokers Hickory Bacon Burger Rub. Continue until all burgers are pressed and seasoned.
5. Start smoker/grill and set to 225 degrees. When grill is ready, lay the Stuffed Gourmet Burgers on the smoker/grill. Smoke for 30 minutes for more smokey flavor.
6. After 30 minutes, crank smoker/grill up to 350-400 until recommended FDA approved internal of 160 degrees for ground beef.
7. Pull off, stack up& top off with Cheddar Cheese and enjoy!
