INGREDIENTS:

- 2 tsp HSRC Forbidden Fruit

- Apple Chipotle/Honey Bacon Hog

- 2-28oz cans Bush's Maple Beans

- 1-28oz can Bush's Honey Beans

- 1-21oz can Apple Pie Filling (chopped)

- 1lb thick cut applewood hickory bacon

- 2 cups of Graham crackers (crushed)

- 3/4 cup light brown sugar (optional)

- 4-8tsp of unsalted butter (optional)

STEPS:

  1. **Mixing and Seasoning:**

Thoroughly combine beans & apple pie filling in a bowl. Add designated seasonings & brown sugar, ensuring even distribution.

  1. **Smoking the Beans:**

Preheat smoker to 225-250°F (107-121°C). Spread bean mixture in a foil casserole dish evenly. Smoke for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for consistent flavors.

  1. **Bacon Preparation:**

Smoke bacon until crispy; set aside to top for later. Pat dry to remove excess grease. Finely chop for flavorful bacon bits.

  1. **Assembly:**

Gently fold half the chopped bacon into the smoked bean mixture. Reserve remaining bacon as a tasty topping. Optionally, include Graham crackers to top for flavor & texture.

  1. **Pairing Suggestion:**

These smoky and flavorful beans beautifully complement a variety of meats, including pork, chicken, and beef. Serve alongside your preferred choice of these meats to create a harmonious & satisfying meal experience.
