Loaded Bacon, Brisket Potato Soup:


This creamy, hearty soup combines tender chunks of smoked brisket, perfectly seasoned with Holy Smokers Brisket Rub, with velvety potatoes, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a kick of savory spice. It’s the ultimate comfort food, packed with bold BBQ flavor in every spoonful.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Brisket cut into small cubes (Follow Brisket Guide)
  • 2-3 TBS HSRC Brisket Rub
  • 2 lb Bags Cubed Hashbrowns
  • 1 medium yellow onion finely diced
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 5 oz Cream of Chicken
  • 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 Cup Smoked Gouda Cheese Shredded
  • 8 Slices of Thick-cut bacon, crumbled
  • 1 Stick of Real Butter
  • 2 TBS All-Purpose Flour
  • Sour Cream (optional)
  • Onion Chives (optional for garnish)
  • 1 Large Crock Pot

Note: Can add more or less of any ingredients to make it as juicy or chunky as you desire!

Soup Base Preparation:

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onions & sauté until softened and aromatic, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Gradually sprinkle the flour over the onions, stirring constantly to form a cream base.
  3. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, ensuring the mixture is smooth & free of lumps.

Assemble in the Crock Pot:

  1. Preheat the Crock-Pot to high heat. Add the cubed hash browns & generously season with Holy Smokers Brisket Rub.
  2. Pour the prepared soup base over the seasoned potatoes.
  3. Mix in the heavy cream, additional chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar and gouda cheeses, and one stick of real butter.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally to combine flavors.

Add the Protein:

  1. About 30 minutes before serving, gently fold in the cubed brisket & crumbled bacon, allowing them to warm through.

Serve and Garnish:

  1. Ladle the soup into bowls and top with sour cream, extra shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, fresh chives, & a sprinkle of Holy Smokers Brisket Rub for an added heavenly burst of flavor.
