Tomahawk Pork Chop

This tender and juicy, apple-crusted, reverse-seared chop will be a meal you'll never forget.

Basic Info:

Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 1-1.5hrs. Difficulty: 3 of 5. Serves: 2-4. Wood Type: Competition.

Ingredients:

Olive Oil
Spray Butter
Holy Smokers Forbidden Fruit Apple Chipotle

Steps:

1. Rub the Chop down on all sides with olive oil.


2. Liberally apply Holy Smokers Apple Chipotle to all sides & let it sit at room temp for roughly 20 minutes to an hour.


3. Set Smoker/Grill temp to 200-215 for low smoke/grill & light smoke tube if desired.

4. Pull off protein off once internal hits 115 and kick up the smoker/grill to 400 degrees.


5. Once at 400 degrees, place tomahawk chops back onto the smoker/grill and spritz with Spray Butter.


6. Sear each side for roughly 5-7 minutes or until desired
internal temperature is reached.


(For Pork, 144 degrees internal is key.)

7. Pull off smoker/grill and let sit for 7-10 minutes.
