Light, bright citrus notes and a buttery finish pull it all together. It’s cozy, clean, and boldly home-cooked—the perfect way to turn leftover smoked turkey into something unforgettable.

Ingredients

  • 4–5 cups pulled smoked turkey meat (added at the end to preserve the smoke)

  • 2 tbsp Roasted Garlic & Herb

  • 3–32 oz carton of chicken broth

  • 3 cups water

  • 2 large bay leaves

  • 6–8 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1–2 medium yellow onions, diced & sautéed

  • 1½ cups celery, sliced

  • 2 cups canned sliced carrots, drained

  • 1–2¾ cups sliced zucchini

  • 1–2 cup chopped cabbage

  • 1 tbsp sea salt

  • 2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for sautéing onions & garlic)

  • 16 oz bag of egg noodles

  • Optional: juice of ½ lime & mushrooms

Steps

1. Sauté aromatics
In a large stockpot (12–16 qt):
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil + butter. Add onions → sauté 5 minutes. Add minced garlic + cabbage → cook 30 seconds more.

2. Build your broth
Add the following to the pot: chicken broth, water, bay leaves, chopped celery, canned carrots, zucchini (optional), salt + black pepper. Simmer 15–20 minutes.

3. Add the noodles
Add 16 oz egg noodles; cook according to package (usually 8–10 minutes). You want them just cooked—not mushy.

4. Add smoked turkey last

Turn heat to low. Fold in your 4–5 cups smoked turkey, shredded or chunked.

5. Taste, then add
Garlic salt (optional), more Roasted Garlic & Herb seasoning, and lime juice. Warm for 5–7 minutes and do not boil from this point—keeps the smoke flavor clean.

6. Want extra richness?
Add 2 tbsp butter after noodles finish.
