Rubbin' the Cherry Hickory

This is a great, balanced rub with a variety of applications. The cherries bring that sweetness with the hickory flavor and it's fantastic on pork. I used it on pork tenderloin, and it was quite tasty and really added to the color and appearance as well. I could easily recommend this rub as part of your utility belt for grilling and smoking arsenal. If you combine with a good sauce, maybe a cherry bbq sauce or a cherry cola injection for your pork, it would be a solid, layered, flavor profile. It gives a lot of versatility.

Perfect rub for anything

This is my go to rub on almost anything. It's great just by itself or good paired with a pepper based rub to give it a little kick of sweet.
